Bios

Pastor Matthew D. Stephan has been serving Emmanuel Chapel for over 2 years.  Before this he attended with his wife Evelyn Joy for 7 years and lived in South Philly during that time.  He attended Eastern University receiving a BA in Theology and Philosophy.  He then taught at Christian Schools in South West Philadelphia for two years.  He received a M. Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2006.  He also has done internships with Emmanuel OPC, Faith OPC, and in India.  He and Evelyn currently live a few blocks away from the church in the heart of South Philly, with their twin boys, Titus Vijay and Micah Enoch.
