Hello to all in our Emmanuel Chapel church family,
Tomorrow we will be “all virtual” again due to the continued surging COVID cases in our region. So no Worship Services or Sunday School classes in either building tomorrow, just virtual, until further notice.
We are in the Advent season, turning our hearts and minds toward the coming of our Savior. Since we are online only tomorrow, Shelly & I will do the Advent reading and candle lighting again from our house during the service. So IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE JOIN US BY WEBEX VIDEO TOMORROW, so that you will be able to enter into the Advent reading and candle lighting, from our home to yours.
Tomorrow I will preach an Advent message from Luke 1:26-38 entitled, “Christmas Wishes.” My “wish list” for you this Christmas season has 3 items on it, inspired by this wonderful passage about the angel Gabriel’s life-changing announcement to Mary.
Please remember that if you would like prayer for something during the worship service tomorrow, just email me about it, and we will be happy to pray for you tomorrow.

Apologies for the technical difficulties and missing first few minutes of the sermon recording. Also note that there is no Sunday School recording due to technical difficulties.

We are monitoring this regularly, with hope that the day will be soon when we can safely worship together again in our church buildings…
Speaking of hope, we are now in the Advent season, turning our hearts and minds toward the coming of our Savior. Since we are online only tomorrow, Shelly and I will do the Advent reading and candle lighting from our home during the service. This will be another “first” for us all, in this strange year of 2020.
We will be finishing our Fall sermon series called, Need Change? (Finding Hope from People Who Found Change). Each message has looked at different Bible characters whose lives changed when it seemed impossible, giving us hope for the transformation of our lives, too.
Tomorrow will be the last message in this series, from Mark 16:7 entitled, “The Grace of Restoration.” Have you ever felt that things would never be the same because of something you had done? The Apostle Peter had that terrible experience in his life, and found himself surprised by grace when all hope was gone. We all need to get in on this!
