Worship 1/31/2021

Tomorrow we begin our “Winter in the Psalms” sermon series that will run through the end of March. We will have a number of preachers in the pulpit, as we have in the past during the months while Pastor John is away. This Sunday, Ron Lutz will preach from Psalm 130.

Also, since tomorrow is a 5th Sunday of the month, we will receive a special offering toward our Christian Education Scholarship Fund. Please give as you are able.

So please join us for the Worship Service at 10:30 AM, in person or remotely.

Sunday School for 4th-12th Grades and Adults will follow the service at 12:00 PM, in person and remotely.

This Sunday is the final sermon in the “Project Connect” series, entitled, “Trusting Others With Our Struggles.” This is a challenging aspect of our life together. It feels risky to share our painful personal stuff with others, and it’s hard to know who to trust. We will look at various Scriptures, primarily Proverbs 17:17, 18:24, and Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, as we seek to grow in this area of our life together in Christ.

This Sunday, will be the third sermon in the “Project Connect” series, entitled, “Humans Need Friends.” I’m pretty sure that includes all of us! We will look at the friendship of David and Jonathan in I Samuel 20, as a case study to evaluate and encourage our own relationships as we follow Jesus.
