Worship 5/20/23

Tomorrow we will continue our series called, The Good News of God’s Grace according to Naaman. We will look at verses 4-8 and meet four men—two kings, an army commander and a prophet of God—all important men. But at the center of them all is still that little servant girl and, most importantly, her testimony of the power and grace of her God. “He Let None of Her Words Fell to the Ground” is the title of the sermon. Let’s come and see how good her (and our) God is! And please invite your friends or family members to come along with you.

Pastor John Julien will lead us celebrate the Lord’s Supper together, and we will also receive our monthly Deacons Offering.

If you come to church by car, keep in mind there is the Italian Market Festival going on from 11am to 6pm tomorrow at Philadelphia’s South 9^th Street Italian Market. Traffic might be heavier and parking more difficult.

Worship Sunday 5/6/23

“My only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” That’s what Pastor John Julien reminded us last week in his sermon. We want to build on that and begin a new series called, The Good News of God’s Grace according to Naaman. We’ll spend the next two months in 2 Kings 5. Tomorrow we’ll look at verse 1 and meet the first character in the story, which is also the title of the sermon, “Naaman The Great Man, A Leper.”  Please join us and invite your friends or family members to come along with you.

Also, starting tomorrow, we will hold our Indonesian service in the basement of our Reed Street building. We will all be under one roof! Now we’ll have the opportunity to welcome and greet and share testimonies and many more with one another every Sunday. Praise God!
