We are entering the season of Advent, a time set apart to remember the depth of God’s love in the Incarnation and to look ahead with hope to Christ’s return to make all things new. With that in mind, we will step away briefly from our series on the book of James and turn to a 4-part series called God with Us. Over these weeks we will reflect on the wonderful promise of God’s presence with His people in waiting, in darkness, in silence, and even in the bleak mid-winter. Tomorrow we will begin by meditating on Isaiah 9:2-7 in a message titled “With Us in the Long Shadows of Waiting.” Please join us and invite your friends or family members to come along with you.

Thankful!
The month of November was spent collecting gifts and packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We are so thankful for our young people who organized the campaign and planned the packing event. A great time was had by young and old. We hope these gifts are a blessing to the children who receive them, and help share the hope of the gospel and the love of Jesus wherever they go.
The weekend culminated in our annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner following a joint English/Indonesian worship service. A huge “thank you” to all who contributed to the feast!
